full colour zombie print
i've been experimenting with colouring in the 'Zombie Diner' print, and i think you'll agree it's a big improvement... all painstakingly hand-coloured with heat-fixable fabric markers, so they're a bit more expensive than the black outline print.. pics aren't amazing cos i took them with a phone camera, but these are now listed on ebay: morgue green halter top with full colour print (size 8-12) pink polka dot bag with gingham straps (and a matching pink polka dot halter top (size 8-12) which the picture wouldnt work) also, a NEW 'Ghost Cowboy' circle skirt in PURPLE (size 14/ 16/ 18) ALL ARE BUY IT NOW OR BEST OFFER, i can no longer take the suspense of watching people bid on things, especially if its a quiet week and stuff ends up selling for less than it's worth..... feel free to make me an offer on anything though, i am poor so no reasonable offer will be refused!! http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/kathrynpugwash | | Tuesday, July 17th, 2007 | | 9:54 pm |
man i hate those prissy gothic lolitas.... im talking about the livejournal 'egl' forum which i post my ebay links on from time to time. those bitches wouldn't know tact if it ripped off thier stupid oversized headdresses and pissed in their fake rocking horse shoes. tbh i don't get it... when i started making alice in wonderland stuff and posted it there i got loads of positive comments, now it's "that bow looks like it was stuck there by a blind child playing pin the tail on the donkey' and the post gets removed within minutes (haha by a super bitchy moderator who actually watches the community 24 hours a day, shame) and i get a nasty email about it....... jeeez. i can't be bothered to make this a proper ranting bitch fest, but really, i've had it with those ugly little 12 year old computer nerds with their ill-fitting, overpriced japanese outfits, bought by theitr rich parents, that make them look like pudgy little dumplings with lank beige hair and pasty strip light 'gaajin' complexions. 'kawaai' my eye. apologies if you like lolita stuff and youre not a stuck up bitch (as i am.. up to a point ;) ) but yeah, next time you see a lolita, steal their lollipop and tell them the lace on their outfit looks cheap. i'd consider it a personal favour :) | | Thursday, May 31st, 2007 | | 5:19 pm |

New 'Collection' and Dead And Buried on Friday
riiiiight.... ive been super busy making all new stuff, so you have to come to dead and buried on friday and buy it all so i can get the bus home. without boring you with the details, the new fabric print didnt really work properly first time so what you see below is just what was useable from the print. im going to redo it.... and... it'll be better! close up of part of the fabric: lime green crushed velvet pencil skirt (yes i know): b/w miniskirt with suspenders and frills on the bum: girls' gingham western shirt, needs some fringing. im making mens' ones as well, in solid black. cut-up t-shirt/ dress shirt thingy with bat tie clip (the white part is ruffled/pleated) cut up shirt/dress with real bones, i'll be doing more like this in different colours, all a bit different depending what shirts i can get ..... im tired, i'm going to bed! more stuff for shrinking violet
been making lots of stuff for shrinking violet in bath (see post below for details) last few weeks, apparently its selling pretty fast, the mind boggles! here are pictures of the 'limited edition' vests i did last week (limited, like my attention span)..... i made 14 (roughly 2 of each style) and sent 12 to the shops, but somewhere between the camera, photobucket and here, theres not that many photos! i'll try and sort that out and put more up. if you want one, they're £15 each and can be made in a week or two. i can still make these! the photos not great, but this is a nice baby pink with double black lace. i can still make these ive run out of the green ribbon on this ive run out of the gingham ribbon on this one as well i can still make ones like this most importantly- as ive mentioned in previous entries, the electric ballroom market isnt doing anything for me at this time of year, to be honest its a complete waste of time and money to be doing it at the moment, when ive got stuff to be getting on with (and paid for) for Shrinking Violet. so i wont have the stall there for a while. i will be at the next dead and buried, and making things to order over the internet, and will probably go back to the ballroom (or possibly get a spot outside) when the weather gets nicer. ....formerly known as dead kitty
ive just ordered my first proper labels, and please note that they read "Kathryn Pugwash deadkitty13@hotmail.com" NOT dead kitty clothing or anything like that. the reasons for this are boringly obvious: Dead Kitty is like the most generic name ever, and like my friend rachel says "it's a bit camden". Also at london edge last year there were like 4 other companies called things like "death kitty, evil kitty, bad kitty" etc etc etc... so yes. a name change, and not before time, either. dont worry, my email address will still be deadkitty13@hotmail.com NOW SCROLL DOWN AND SEE ALL MY LOVELY NEW STUFF!!!!! | | 2:14 pm |
Dead Kitty in the shops!
Good news for anyone living in or near Bath or Bristol, (and me of course!) the shop 'Shrinking Violet' (20 park street, bristol and a branch in Bath)) has recently started stocking my stuff! their website iswww.shrinkingvioletonline.co.uk (although none of my stuff is on there yet) on tuesday i sent them 6 printed alice skirts and 12 vests, of which 2 of the skirts and 10 of the vests have already been sold! yesterday i finished 12 cardigans for them which i hope to send off tomorrow, so i thought i'd let you have a look first. a note about these cardigans: i had to bargain-hunt them down around london, so they vary in size, style and colour because theyre from different suppliers. technically theyre 'limited edition' because it's unlikely that i will be able to find these exact styles again, but if youre interested in any of them, either get in touch with Shrinking Violet and buy it from them, or email me and i can try and find something similar and add my patches etc to it for you. also the colours appear lighter here because of the camera flash, they are various nice shades of pastel pink/purple. black cardi cut through to red/white alice cards panel sewn inside, with read leopard fake fur colar, red ribbon bow and black dice black cardi cut through to black/white alice cards panel, with white lace collar and gingham bow with diamante lilac cardi with pink cheshire cat patches and plastic/diamante buttons different shade of lilac stretchy cardi with little pockets and cheshire cat patches close up of patches above pink cardi with eatme/drinkme and flamingo iron-on patches lilac cardi with plastic/diamante buttons and eatme/drinkme iron-ons border black cardi with hook/eye closures and green pirate cheshire cat patches close up of pirate cat black glittery cardi with green cheshire cats lilac cardi with purple glittery drink me iron-ons and plastic/diamante buttons pink cardi with pink/purple cheshire cat patches and teapot buttons cream/grey leopardskin cardi with black/white drinkme/bones/skulls/bows iron-ons (2 of) detail also, new/different vests: sorry about the picture being sideways but photobucket won't rotate it properly... there are 2x cheshire cats (pink/purple, hand coloured, pink has grey leopard ribbon); 2x white alice with cards (with red and black lace and ribbons and silver padlocks) and pink/purple drink mes (purple has black lace and purple bow) purple cheshire cat vest has green leopard ribbon around top + bottom, theres some drink mes and girl skulls there as well. more vests this week, photos soon! and finally, new eatme/ drinkme pink polka dot fabric print skirt (also for Shrinking Violet but available to order from me for £35): it doesnt have a bow on the back but i can add one for an extra £5 Current Music: the first kiss cuts deepest- zombina and the skeletones | | Friday, March 10th, 2006 | | 10:25 am |

new things and bababa white/red/black alice skirt with red netting underskirt, £35 (printed on white polycotton and hand-coloured, with red and black lace. the red petticoat isn't attatched to the actual skirt so they can be worn separately as well. this one doesnt have a bow on the back) this is it on the mannequin: i made this one for kayleigh, my beautiful blonde model, but they're available to you, my lucky public as well :) white skirt with black cheshire cat prints and black satin bow £25 its shown with a petticoat in this picture, which is not included in the price this is the back: (the bow can be made smaller if desired) red/white/black alice miniskirt with black satin bow, £25 it looks UBER-cute on, i sold this particular one on sunday morning but there'll be plenty more of the same. this is the back: deadkitty print handbag with pink satin lining and pink leopard handles, £20: and the lining and inside pocket: for anyone that cares, im going insane with boredom (not the good kind of creative manic insane, the grinding teeth, punching inanimates and crying insane) down here in south london with no friends and no life, the market has become a sort of fly-paper for badly dressed, rude cheapskates from costa-del-brown-anorak, so im poor too. poor and miserable. and ininspired. !!!!!!!!!!!!this would be the perfect time for anyone who has some bizzare fantasy outfit they want made, to contact me.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont mind admitting that i'll do it super cheap, you know- once materials and that are covered, just for the joy of having a project to get up in the morning for. i'm a lazy bastard by nature and the prospect of slaving away all week on some fabulous thing only to have to sell it for peanuts to some retarded, illiterate, sniggering tight-arse from somewhere they haven't discovered good manners or flattering clothing..... well it chips away at my flinty little heart. so bring it on... i'm dying to get stuck into something extravagant, to sustain me until the weather improves and to stop letting the bastards get me down. the more interesting the project, the more free hours i'll put in for you :) Current Mood: listlessCurrent Music: the mansfields- all dressed up | | Thursday, February 9th, 2006 | | 8:36 pm |
more tea vicar? in other news today, unfortunately my t-shirt suppliers have discontinued the black low necked t-shirts i was using for my lolita tops (bah, and just when i realised how easy theyd be to do on the sewing machine) so i might not have any in for a while while i try to find a similar style. bums. 'part from that had a really lazy week just tidying up and buying crap off ebay. gah. | | Wednesday, February 8th, 2006 | | 5:59 pm |

more stuff i made this week: pink alice skirt with black lace (printed on pink w/white polka dot fabric), no bow on the back, machine washable. £35 (i made two the same length but slightly different sizes) pink with black dk print skirt, very short! its got black lace around the bottom and no bow on the back. quite a small size (10ish), £25 and this is miranda (kawaiiii) wearing her plain pink version with no polka dots: dead an buried tonight, come along and bring all your money!!! | | Wednesday, February 1st, 2006 | | 6:50 pm |
what katie did today: drink me halterneck top, printed cotton with black lace and b/w gingham bow. its quite long, hip length, i hate tops that ride up over my beer gut :) its got a full length zip at the back. size 10-12, £20 (100% cotton, may soften and fade a little with washing) cherry halterneck, similar to the one below but with different lace. £18 please note that the bow, although giant, looks even bigger in this picture because theres only a certain amount of perspective you can achieve when taking pictures of your own arse. its made of slightly stretchy cherry print fabric (black); its high waisted and has a short split down one side. theres red lace around the bottom. it fits size 10-12 but might stretch to a 14, and its quite long, below the knee on me, as you can see. machine washable, although the satin bow may need ironing. before you ask, yes it's available without the bow, (£25) and with a black/different coloured bow. £30. | | Sunday, January 29th, 2006 | | 9:38 pm |
pissed and pissed off
edited to prevent airing of dirty linen in public and to say: shout out to the gothic lolita massive, thanks for the visit!!! should defiunately be encouraged, even if only to make all the other stallholders jealous! money-wise, bit of a shit day at the market, despite the usually lucrative events of the saturday night (a knife fight between two rival crack gangs on camden high street, resulting in two fatal stabbings and someone getting hit by a bus) harhar, maybe it was the scum that threatened to stab me when i tried to stop him molesting my friend wot got done, i hope so :) when i say usually lucrative, apparently the best ever day in the market, money wise, was when they found that torso in the canal and everyone came down to camden to have a look! but all good fun anyway, made friends with schoolgirls! (albeit buff schoolgirls with glossy black hair , fox fur and cute little shoes). then went to the dev and got a bit (more) pissed, then came home and sulked. this week, making lots of goff stuff for dead and buried (and trying to scrape together money for same) and the stray buyers from london edge.... if you've placed an order with me, PLEEEEEEEASE email me and let me know if you still want it, i'm a bit skinted out this week and could really do with the cash! thanks! xxx | | Saturday, January 28th, 2006 | | 2:45 pm |
yesterday i tried making some tops and dresses from material i had lying around. just generic rockabilly stuff, but when i get the pattern thing down they'll be made in Dead Kitty print fabrics and other nice stuff like bright coloured animal prints, flower/fruit print fabrics, etc. this is a top and skirt, the top is fitted and has a zip from the bottom to halfway up the back (£25), and the skirt is elasticated: (£20) this is a cherry print dress with a halter top and pencil skirt (one piece) it needs a zip or some eyelets in the back, and a split in the skirt to make it fit better, but nearly there :) also, this leopard print dress: it has a tie haterneck and ties to fasten it at the back (apart from that its backless): the fabric is a kind of stretchy velour so its also ultra-comfy. i'm tempted to keep this for myself but as you can see, its not the kind of thing you can get away with not wearing a bra :s i don't know how much i'll be asking for these yet, it will depend mainly on what fabrics i make em in and how much that costs. also, a white DK print skirt: £30, will go nicely with the white matching top and a black belt/corset so.... anyone going anywhere good tonite? and am i the only one who regrets not putting a tenner on chantelle to win celeb big bruv? oh and i got my 5 back issues of bubblegum slut in the mail today, thanks alison! ;x now to go and sew up this darn nightie...
