Spring 2006
new stuff!! i've been doing lots of pouffy skirts with the alice in wonderland prints (exclusive to dead kitty!), they are machine stitched and sold separately from the stiff net petticoats, so if you already have one knocking around at home, you can save yourself a bit of cash and just have the skirt to go on top :) mannequin wears alice cards shirt with painted press stud fastenings, white lace trim and bow size 10 £12 hand wash with black & white alice skirt with satin bow and black lace (size M-L) £35 (£45 with petticoat) this is the back of the skirt: here is one in pink/white polka dot with alice/caterpillar/cheshirecat print: dead kitty fabric print skirt, size M, with white lace (no satin bow) £30: pink/white polkadot skirt with black girlskull print and lace, size M, machine washable. £20 as above but in white, size S, £20 teenage goth vest, sizes 8-18 available, £8.50, and fabulously good value, if you don't mind me saying :) there are also vests with large drink me's and girlskulls, i have them in black but other colours are available on request. PAYPAL, POSTAGE AND SHIPPING INFO
IMPORTANT! sorry to shout but I HAVE JUST SIGNED UP FOR PAYPAL. I can now accept payments!! woohoo!! i think for now i will include the paypal fees in the prices but postage/shipping and packaging will be added on top. FOR UK ORDERS: i'll be using the post office 'recorded signed for' service which costs 66p plus first class postage and involves me queing up in the post office :) OVERSEAS ORDERS: the post office offers surface mail, which is cheap but very slow (up to 8 weeks) or airmail which is more expensive but usually arrives within 5 working days. (as a rough example, to send 2 skirts and 2 tops to the US by airmail costs around £10) when you place an order or make an enquirey, i'll weigh the item and look up the cost, but if you want to check for yourself, the details and prices are at www.postoffice.co.uk obviously the none of the postage costs will go in my pocket, so it makes no difference to me, i just don't want to be blamed if you have it sent surface mail and you dont get it in time! UK ONLY: here is the post office chart of recorded delivery prices, add £1-£3 for packaging depending on the size of the item. as a guide, a t-shirt weighs about 300g. Maximum weight First class 200g £1.45 250g £1.60 300g £1.73 350g £1.87 400g £2.06 450g £2.25 500g £2.44 600g £2.81 700g £3.18 750g £3.37 800g £3.56 900g £3.93 1kg £4.30 you'll still have to email me if you want to buy something so that we can be in personal contact and i can keep track of orders. thanks for listening! | | Saturday, December 10th, 2005 | | 4:55 pm |

NEW!! Alice in Wonderland Designs
Thanks to a couple of solid weeks of drawing, photocopying, buying and lugging aroung huge bags of bits of wood, staple-gunning, tidying, a lot of help from a pal and a fair bit of cash from my mum, i've finished the alice in wonderland screens and i've got everything i need to print all the stuff at home (i've even got quite good at it, though i say so myself). woohoo! the end goal is to print fabric which will (hopefully) be rendolent of 'toile de jouy' (the blue-on-white scenes of rural france, sheperdesses with big skirts and so on that you get on plates and posh wallpaper), so i can make a frock which i've stolen the idea for off vivienne westwood. in the meanwhile though, (and because man cannot live off flights of fancy alone) here is the alice 'diffusion range' (oooh, get me, i'm using so many 'fashion' words i'm making myself sick). there are more designs i haven't used yet (the caterpillar, the queen of hearts, the white rabbit, painting the roses red) but i promise you, when i do, you'll be the first to know. this is a pink skirt (i think polycotton), with pleats at the top, the border round the bottom has iron-on patches of the 'eat me' cakes and 'drink me' bottles. (printed black outlines and hand painted colours). its size 8-10 uk, £30 here you can see the details, the neck of the bottle and the cork is made to look like a skull wearing a top hat and the cherry on top of the cake is a little skull too: this is alice being attacked by the cards, its coloured in with red paint and red glitter (which is washable) here it is on a lolita t-shirt (s/m/l, £18) alice playing flamingo croquet (this is on a pink t-shirt i made for my friend, but i'll put a picture up of a blue skirt with it on as well): cheshire cat cardigan with pearlised buttons, look how perfectly prim and proper it is! its really stretchy so it'll fit a size 10-14, £25 more alice stuff coming very soon! now heres some t shirts: lolita t-shirt with girlskull print s/m/l £13 red lolita tshirt s/m/l £15 pink/purple party dress with lopard print skull and crossbones, lace, netting and purple skeleton halloween decorations, size 10, £25 this is my sailor pencil skirt with a painted bow on the back and dalmation print fabric and lace around the bottom. it also has six white buttons on the front but i don't have a picture of that. avalilable to order, also in different colour combinations etc, around £30 | | 10:56 am |

thats me that is... apparently. oh god i'm so bored!!!! on the bright side though my new inks and stuff have arrived... alice in wonderland fabric can't be long now! knowing that theres a 5 litre bucket of thick, goregeous (sic) gloopy indelible black ink sitting around in a box in the hallway might prove too much. i might just go and have a playyyy... | | Monday, October 24th, 2005 | | 1:18 pm |
green hair and swing skirts
heres one i've been yearning to make for ages, the 50's style circle skirt with my little skulls around the bottom; its nice shiny satin with a layer of netting underneath but it really needs a proper crinoline petticoat to do it justice :) it said size 6 in the label but i can close the zip if i pull it right up round my waist... so say size 8-10 (maybe)... it's £45 and i would recommend hand washing (or having it professionally cleaned) and this one i finshed off for kerosene_v2a on saturday, its part of her 'zombie cowgirl' outfit for the drop dead fest (pictures of the cowboy hat and boots to follow, provided they survive NY): i'm going to be doing more like this to sell, in different colours etc, they'll be about £25 also, a little skull and crossbones brooch, i can do in various colours, and with diamantes... they'll be like a fiver or something | | Tuesday, October 18th, 2005 | | 10:23 am |
please can someone tell me how you get your little picture next to your name? and how do you get the moving ones? i'm stupid as fuck when it comes to all this computer stuff. thanks! | | Monday, October 17th, 2005 | | 4:52 pm |
DEAD KITTY- A LITTLE BIT ZOMBIE, A LITTLE BIT ROCK'N'ROLL!!!
this is the much feted 'frankenstein hand' hand bag.. i'm going to look in the shops tomorrow to see if i can still get these hands (in which case the bags will be about £10-£15 with a shiny chain handle (your choice of length) but if not, tough luck kids... here are some handbags, this one is quite big (bigger than the roebuck ones) with a little carrying handle at the top. i can't work out if it's leather or not (??) the design on the front is hand painted on fabric and glued on so it won't peel off. it has lace around the edge and a pink satin interior, £25: at the moment it's a one-off but i'm trying to find more. this is a roebuck coffin bag that i've put my own design on, and isn't it precious?? the lining is red with a little detachable purse and it has longish ribbon straps, its also £25 and a one-off (unless you already have a coffin bag i can customise): a couple of shirts, the pinstripe one is size 16/18 uk with a hand painted patch, £20 the black one has a ruffle down the middle covering the buttons, with printed butterflies, size 10 uk, £12 lolita bustier, size 14/16, with hand painted bow £15 ok, now a novelty item; originally concieved from a joke at the height of the national 'chav' craze i thought of doing these diamante bling knuckledusters as they were a more promising commecial venture than trying to pursuade people to have 'ASBO' tattooed on their knuckles. the first ones did indeed say 'ASBO', in fact you can order whatever combination of letters you like. guaranteed to turn your skin green (but hey who's complaining), not guaranteed to stand up to repeatedly battering burberry types in the face with: (oh yeah, they're £15 for four letters) some off-the shoulder t-shirts printed with the new fabric patterns, £12-£20 in various sizes (theyre made from large marks&spencers white t-shirts, some are hand-dyed) with bits of lace and stuff on them: this is the same print in white on black, i'm going to do stuff with just one or two of the little designs (just the bows for example, or the roses) repeated all over as well, and sell them individually as patches for a couple of £ each. black cord jacket (size 12) with leopard velvet lapels and pockets, skull buttons and printed armband/pocket £28... available in whatever combination of colours/fabric/fake fur lengths/different patches/buttons etc you like/ i have.. i don't know if its worth doing these cushions yet but theyre one size fits all and make nice gifts, i've got hundreds of different designs/ fabrics to do them in. the cover will be about £6.50- £10 and i'll have a cushion or two at the market but i'll have to charge more for them than other shops because they take up loads of space in the bag! this one is £12 with the cushion. more bows! the pink leopard print is proving popular (2 for £5): and my new tattoo woo yeah: (its the inside of my elbow, if you can't tell) Current Mood: rawk!!Current Music: girls girls girls (live)-motley crue | | Friday, October 7th, 2005 | | 11:41 am |
